Several people were hurt when a Delta Airlines jet from LA to Sydney, Australia was hit by significant turbulence this past Friday.
Delta Flight 41 "went through a short bout of rough air" as it touched down at Sydney Airport, an airline spokesperson stated. A number of the onboard staff were injured.
Emergency medical services stated they assessed five individuals, and took three of them to the hospital with relatively minor issues that included back pain and migraines. The injured spanned from their 30s up to the 70s.
